White Fever

“Warm pants, good advice, wool socks, the Fool’s wisdom, and finally a hat”

-This is a credo that sticks with Leszek Naziemiec, when he immerses into depths of the sea.

ICE SWIMMING

ICE SWIMMING

We strongly encourage you to try ice swimming. But if you don’t feel ready for that mystic experience, you can start the journey by watching White Fever. We will try to show you what it means when you put your body to the limits.

LESZEK NAZIEMIEC

To describe Leszek Naziemiec’s character as briefly as possible, one can simply say that he is a real Renaissance man. A psychologist focused on working with children, a physiotherapist devoted to working on increasing body awareness and finally a promoter of the winter swimming and a sportsman.

His passion for all those activities brought him to become an author. He wrote books about wild swimming and raising children in harmony with nature. He is also very active on social media, spreading the awareness of the importance of healthy living in the modern world.

Leszek started his adventure with winter swimming with a group of Silesian friends: Marek Grzywa, Łukasz Tkacz and Mariusz Lebioda, establishing the Silesia Winter Swimming Sports Club. Together, they organized a swimming trip to Spitsbergen, which became the direct inspiration for this film.

FILM

The idea of the documentary film has evolved – from a reportage about the winter sport to an essay, a sort of a road movie, which tells the story about the condition of modern man, and above all, is a chronicle of Leszek’s personal transformation.

It shows his journey and the process of self-discovery, him – going with the flow – not against the current, the absolute symbiosis of nature and human built on trust and attention brought to the universal matters.

White Fever is a universal film touching on the aspects of human nature and a theme of a self-discovery.

ALASKA '23

We are preparing an expedition that we have been waiting for a long time. Leszek, with our crew by his side, will swim along the Yukon River, about 200 miles without any protection and in the middle of the wild nature of Alaska.

This expedition will be a culmination of four years of our work and co-creation. We hope that this experience will bring us the level of self-awareness that Leszek has been talking about since the very beginning of working on this film.
